Against All Orcs

Text: Daniela Festi | TTTO: Against All Odds (Phil Collins) | 2012

Against all Orcs

TTTO: Against All Odds (Phil Collins)
Text: Daniela Festi (2012)

Frodo:
Why can't we just leave and walk away?
Just go and leave without a trace?
When the Dark is taking every breath from me, ooh
He's the only one who really knows me at all

How can I just keep on walking here
When is Sauron's Eye all I see
Cause my soul is dark and full of pain
Why did Gandalf said to me:
You're the only one who can bear the ring at all?

So take a look at me now
Cause there's just an empty space
And there's nothing left here to remind me
Just the memories of this race
Take a look at me now
Cause there's just an empty space
Bringing back the ring is against all orcs
And that is what I've got to face

Sam:
I wish I could just make a turn-around
Turn around and go back home
There's so much I miss, I barely stand
Thinking 'bout the Shire
But you're the one who can bear the ring at all

So take a look at me now
Cause I am no empty space
And I'm still left here to remind you
Of the purpose of this race
Take a look at me now
Cause I am still standing here
Going on with you is all I can do
So let's go to the final race

Both:
Take a good look at me now
Cause we are still standing here
Bringing back the ring is against all orcs
And that is what we've got to face

Just take a look at me now
